Pick the area or the equipment

After your first press, the list beside the button narrows the draw to Arms, chest and back, Legs, Core, or Cardio, whole body and yoga. No equipment keeps to the 23 moves that need none; Weights, bar or machine holds the other 26.

Use it as an exercise randomizer

Set the count to 3 and you have three moves to build a session around. How many times and how hard is yours to decide: the cards name the movement and the muscles and stop there.

Questions and answers

Is this a workout plan?

No. It is a shuffled list of exercise names with a line on each movement. It does not know you, so it sets no repetitions, weights or times and makes no promise about results.

What is the difference between a pull-up and a chin-up?

The grip. A pull-up can be done with the hands over the bar, under it, or turned in, and the underhand version is sometimes called a chin-up.

Which exercises need no equipment?

Choose No equipment in the list for 23 of them, among them the push-up, squat, lunge, plank, wall sit, jumping jack and burpee.

Which muscles does a push-up work?

The chest muscles, the triceps and the front of the shoulders, with the legs used as support.

How this list was compiled: 49 common exercises. Every line was checked by script on 2026-09-30 against the opening section of the English Wikipedia article in x.src, fetched that day: what the movement is and, where the article names them, the muscles it works, in the article's own terms. Left out on purpose: sets, repetitions, weights, calories, benefits, risks and any claim about who an exercise is for; the crunch and the upright row, whose articles open with injury warnings; and exercises with no article to check.
