How often you choose

Metal braces hold the wire to each bracket with an elastic tie, and ties come in many colors. Braces are usually adjusted every three to six weeks, and new ties go on each time, so no color lasts long. Self-ligating braces use no ties, so there is nothing to pick.

What braces color should I get for a holiday?

After your first press, choose Holidays and seasons in the list beside the button: red and green for Christmas, orange and black for Halloween, red, white and blue for the Fourth of July. Bold and Quiet sort the colors by how much they stand out.

Which braces color matches metal brackets?

Yes, at your next adjustment, when the old ties come off and new ones go on. That is usually three to six weeks away, according to Wikipedia's article on dental braces, so a color you tire of does not stay for long.
