Name the boss, then set its place
Press New boss name. Tap a part to lock it, then press again. Keep a name and title and press until the kind fits, or lock the kind and name every miniboss in the game.
Use it as a final boss name generator
Tap the kind row and press its arrows until it reads final boss, then lock it: every press now names a last boss. The final boss is typically present at or near the end of a game and is usually its main antagonist. The list under the tool explains every kind.
Questions and answers
What is a boss in a video game?
In video games, a boss is a significantly powerful enemy character created as a major opponent to players. Bosses are generally far stronger than the opponents the players have faced up to that point.
What is the difference between a miniboss and a final boss?
A miniboss is a boss-like enemy, weaker or less significant than the main boss in the same area or level. The final boss is typically at or near the end of the game, and beating it usually completes the story.
What is a superboss?
A superboss is an optional boss: it does not have to be defeated to complete the game. It is generally much more powerful than the bosses of the main plot, and harder even than the final boss.
Are these boss names from real games?
No. Every name is invented, such as Yulzhakkor or Buttonwyrm, and was searched on Wikipedia and on the fan wikis of well-known games. Search a name before you publish your game, because no list is complete.
