Thirty-nine cards cover the whole state
No land in Rhode Island lies outside a city or town, so the 39 cards are the complete map. Seven towns are bigger than the city of Newport, and Cumberland, the largest, has 37,615 people. Block Island is on the cards under the name of its town, New Shoreham.
Five counties that exist only as names
Rhode Island's counties have no government, but each card still names one. Providence County has 16 of the 39 places, Washington County nine, Newport County six, Kent County five and Bristol County three: Barrington, Bristol and Warren.
- Rhode Islanders call Washington County South County; Narragansett, Westerly and Charlestown are there.
