A random Delaware city generator for three counties
Delaware has three counties, fewer than any other state. Sussex County, in the south, has 25 of the 57 places, Kent County 19 and New Castle County 13, yet three of the four largest are in New Castle. Milford lies across the Kent and Sussex line, so its card says mostly in Sussex County.
The three villages
Arden, Ardentown and Ardencroft, neighbors in New Castle County, are the only villages. Arden was founded in 1900 as a single-tax community; Ardentown followed in 1922 and Ardencroft in 1950. Together they have 931 people.
- Delaware City is not the capital. It is a city of 1,939 people in New Castle County; the capital, Dover, is in Kent County.
