How it works
This ridiculous username generator joins one describing word, such as soggy, bogus or spare, to one thing, such as waffle, pigeon or turnip, with no space: @soggywaffle. Every word is silly on purpose, and none makes fun of a person.

Press, then swap one half
Press New username. Tap the describing word or the thing to keep it or change it, so the same waffle can be soggy, then bogus, then spare. A handle is plain lower-case letters after the @ sign, eleven at most: no digits, spaces, dots or underscores.
What the two lists hold
Describing words come as textures (soggy), paperwork (bogus), moods (sulky) and sizes (jumbo). Things are foods, animals, objects from around the house and a few storybook characters. The lists under the tool give every word one line.
Questions and answers
Is this a stupid username generator?
Yes, in the friendly sense. The handles are ridiculous on purpose, like @boguspigeon, but no word is about anyone's looks, brains, family or identity, so the joke is always on the pigeon.
What makes a username ridiculous?
Here it is the mismatch. A word from a form, a label or a weather report sits in front of a small, ordinary thing: bogus belongs on paperwork and pigeon belongs in a park, and together they are a handle.
Are the usernames checked for rude words?
Yes. A script read every joined pair against a list of 451 rude words and slurs, and a word was dropped wherever one appeared across the join. The scan covers only the strings on that list, so read a handle once before you use it.
Can I use one of these usernames on any site?
Each site has its own rules on how long a handle may be and what it may hold, and this page cannot check them or see whether a name is taken. The handles are plain lower-case letters only.
