How it works
This MMO name generator joins an opening to an ending with no space, so every result is one made-up word with no digits or marks: the shape a character name box takes. The lists below sort the parts by role.

Press, then keep half
Press New character name. The opening and the ending show as two halves under the name. Tap one to lock it or to change it while the other half stays.
Four parts to play
The lists under the tool sort every opening and ending into Blade, Spell, Shadow and Mender. Blade openings are short and hard, such as Brak and Tharn; Spell openings are airy, such as Syl and Lyr. As an MMO healer name generator, press until the opening is a Mender one, such as Wyn, then change the ending until it is soft too. Any opening joins any ending.
Tips
- It works as an MMO username generator too: no result is a dictionary word.
Questions and answers
Is this an MMORPG name generator for any game?
Yes. No game is named or copied here: the names are our own joins, checked against lists of well-known fantasy names. Each game sets its own length limit and rules, so read those before you settle on one.
Is the name taken on my server?
This page cannot tell. It checks no game and no server. Type the name into the game's own name box, and if it is taken, keep the opening and change the ending here.
Can I use it as a fantasy nickname generator?
Yes. A one-word name such as these works as a nickname in a fantasy game, on a forum or at a tabletop. Print gives a sheet of twenty to choose from.
Why are there no numbers or apostrophes?
So the name passes the plainest name box. Every result is one capitalized word of letters only, between five and ten letters long.
