This random birthday generator draws a day of the year and shows what comes with it: the Western zodiac sign and its element, the month's birthstones, its number in the year, and a note when it sits on the cusp of two signs. February 29 keeps its real odds, one draw in 1,461. No name and no year is attached.

Why leap day almost never comes up
Four calendar years hold 1,461 days and one February 29. With Real-calendar odds on, every other day is four times as likely as leap day; switch it off and all 366 days are level. Paired with a year, February 29 needs a leap year such as 1992 or 2004.
Tips
- Probability lesson: tap 20 and look for two rows with the same day. Each draw stands alone, like 20 strangers, and the chance of a match is about 41 percent. With 23 people it is 50.7.
- Real birthdays are not spread evenly. In United States records from 1973 to 1999, September 16 was the most common birthday and December 25 the least common, leap day aside.
- The first and last day of each sign is marked as a cusp day. The Sun changes sign at a moment that shifts between years, so the birth year and time decide.

Is this a random birthday generator with zodiac signs?
Yes. Each result shows the Western sun sign with its element, plus the month's birthstones from the American Gem Society list. In the full list below, Cancer covers 32 days and Capricorn only 29. Earth moves slowest in early July, so the Sun spends longest in Cancer.
What happens when the birthday is February 29?
A person born on leap day is a leapling and keeps the day on February 28 or March 1 in other years. In the United Kingdom and Hong Kong the legal birthday in a common year is March 1.
Can it give me a random birthday for a set age?
Draw the day here, then work out the year. Counted on September 18, 2026, a 30-year-old was born in 1996 if the birthday falls on or before September 18 and in 1995 if it falls later. The birthday randomizer prints no year, so nothing on the page goes out of date.
