This random fast food generator is a wheel with 40 chains on it, from McDonald's and KFC to Greggs, Harvey's and Red Rooster. Tap a country chip to keep only chains that trade in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada or Australia, or a food chip for burgers, chicken, pizza or Mexican. Then open My list and delete whatever is not near you.

Spin, then narrow it down

The wheel opens with all 40 chains on it, already stopped on one. Press Spin for another. The chips above it cut the wheel down: a country chip keeps only the chains with restaurants in that country, and a food chip keeps burgers, chicken, pizza, Mexican, sandwiches and bakery, or Asian. One chip is active at a time. Under the winner you get a line about where the chain began.

Take off what is not near you

No list can know your town, and this page never asks where you are. Open My list, press Use the 40 chains to copy them into the box, then delete every line you cannot drive to. Add the local kebab shop or the taco truck while you are there, one name per line. Write a name twice to give it a double chance. The list is kept in this browser, so next Friday the wheel is already yours.

How the country chips were checked

Chains open and close abroad all the time, so each chain's countries were read from its Wikipedia article on 18 September 2026. That check changed the list. Wendy's came back to Australia in 2025, Guzman y Gomez closed its United States restaurants in 2026, and Little Caesars left Australia in 2019. A chain carries a country only where the article shows restaurants open there now. Where the article was unclear the country was left off, so a chip can miss a chain that has a handful of local branches.

Tips

  • For a car full of people, switch to Elimination and give everyone one veto. A vetoed chain leaves the wheel, so the next spin cannot land on it again.
  • Tally mode suits a family that argues with a single spin: spin five times and go with the chain that leads the count.
  • Hungry Jack's is Burger King under its Australian name, so the Australia chip shows one and the other three chips show the other.
  • On a road trip, tap the country chip first, then check the map for the winner's nearest branch before you promise anyone a milkshake.
  • Had the same chain twice this week? Delete its line from My list and put it back next month.

There are 40: 12 burger chains, 9 chicken, 5 pizza, 5 Mexican, 6 sandwich, bakery and coffee chains and 3 Asian. By country, 29 trade in the United States, 26 in Canada, 23 in the United Kingdom and 16 in Australia, and 9 of them appear under all four chips. The full list sits under the wheel with a line about each chain.

Is this a random fast food restaurant generator for places near me?

It picks a chain, not a branch. The page does not read your location and never asks for it, so it cannot tell whether the winner is five minutes away or in another state. The country chip gets you most of the way, and My list does the rest: copy the chains in, delete the ones your town lacks, and the wheel only lands on places you can reach.

Why is my favorite chain missing?

Slices stop being readable on a phone once a wheel holds much more than 40 names, so the list keeps to the big international chains plus a few home-grown ones from each of the four countries. Regional favorites had to give way. Add yours in My list, where you can hold up to 100 lines.

Does every chain have the same chance?

Yes. Every slice is the same width, the pick is made in your browser, and no chain pays to be here or gets a wider slice. The only way to tilt the wheel is your own: in My list, a name written twice gets two slices. In Elimination mode the odds change as you go, because each winner leaves the wheel.

Is this page connected to any of these restaurants?

No. The names are plain text used to describe what the wheel picks from, with no logos, and they belong to their owners. We list no menus, prices or opening hours, because those differ from branch to branch and change often. Check the chain's own site or app before you set off.
