Random questions to ask guys, girls or anyone you are getting to know: press for one question and its follow-up. They work just as well as random questions to ask a woman or a man, because none is worded for one or the other.

Four kinds of question
After your first press, the menu under the button narrows the draw to Funny, Interesting, Weird or Deep. Funny and Weird suit the first few minutes with a new classmate, teammate or coworker. Interesting gets a story. Deep asks what someone values, never about a painful memory. Read the follow-up once the first answer slows down, then answer the question yourself.
What is left out
These are friendly questions, not flirting lines. Nothing asks about looks, bodies, money, health, past relationships, politics or religion, and nothing tests the other person.
Tips
Answer the question yourself afterwards. A list of questions with no answers back feels like an interview.
Questions and answers
What are random funny questions to ask a guy?
Choose Funny in the menu. You get questions such as "Which vegetable would you cut from the vegetable team?" and "What would your snack-themed superhero name be?", each with a follow-up. They suit anyone, whoever is asking.
What are random interesting questions to ask a guy?
Choose Interesting. These ask for a short story or an opinion: "Which small invention do you think deserves more credit?" or "What do you wish came with an instruction sheet?" The follow-up keeps the story going.
What are random weird questions to ask a guy?
Choose Weird for questions with no sensible answer, such as "What would a snowman want to know about July?" or "Which letter of the alphabet seems the most tired?" They are odd on purpose and never rude.
Are these questions flirty?
No. They are get-to-know-you questions for a new friend, classmate, teammate or coworker: nothing romantic, nothing about looks, and nothing that tests the other person.

How this list was compiled
All 200 questions and their follow-ups were written for this page on 2026-09-30; none is copied from another list. They are friendly get-to-know-you questions, 50 in each of four kinds that are our own sorting: Funny, Interesting, Weird and Deep. No question is worded for a man or for a woman, and none assumes that the two of you share a past. Each one was read against the house rules of our question lists: a person can answer it aloud in about a minute, it needs no special knowledge, it does not ask about money, health, bodies, looks, romance, past relationships, politics, religion or a painful memory, and it names no brand, show, game or living person. No card asks for a detail that sites use as an account security answer: the name of a pet, school, teacher or street, a home town, a first job or an old screen name. The questions have no right answer, so they need no fact-checking. Compared by script the same day with every other list on this site and on our sister site's question decks: about 60 cards that matched or came close were replaced or reworded, and 11 follow-ups were rewritten so that no follow-up repeats one on another of our question lists. Read again in full on 2026-09-30, after the comparison: every question and follow-up was read again for sense, the house rules and repeated ideas, and 1 card was reworded. Licence: own work
